To ensure consistent availability, geospatial data uploaded to GeoTorrent must:

• Be in one of these common formats: ECW, JPEG 2000, Shapefile or TIGER
• Be freely redistributed without restriction
• Be in WGS84 / GEODETIC latitude/longitude map project
